Today Hero turns 27. We prepared by staying up until the wee hours of morning crafting a rice krispy treat Iron Man helmet, covered in buttercream frosting. The whole thing nearly cost us our relationship over proper crispy molding technique (not really…but sort of), took two full batches of rice krispy treats, coated my entire kitchen in a fine powdered sugar coat, and resulted in the most badass birthday cake ever.
